Managing SPEC Data: Overview

The control specification data entered using the SPEC utility program must be written to the system disk so that the specification data is available when the Adept SmartMotion system is powered on. You can also save a copy of the data to a disk file. The file can be used to archive data or to restore or copy SPEC data to a V+ system.
