Adept SmartMotion Developer's Guide
This documentation provides user and reference information for the SPEC utility program and other software used to configure an Adept SmartMotion system. For details on hardware and hardware installation, see the Adept SmartMotion Installation Guide.
The following navigation elements are available throughout the online guide to provide you with access to related topics or additional information:
Hyperlinks are the blue links that will take you to another page in the help system or another area on the same page. Some hyperlinks open pop-up windows that display additional information; simply click on a pop-up window to close it.
Image Maps are hyperlinks embedded in a graphic. Move the mouse cursor over the graphic and where the pointer turns into a hand, a hyperlink will take you to the location indicated on the pop-up label.
The Table of Contents and Search tabs in the left frame allow you to locate and jump to specific information.

Provides access to the Print facility to generate a .pdf version of this documentation. Links to the Adept Documentation Library and all topics included within the documentation set currently displayed. The Table of Contents pane can be displayed by clicking the Show TOC icon, or hidden by clicking the Hide TOC icon that displays in the upper left corner of each topic.
Search
Enter words or phrases to scan topic content and find all topics that match the search criteria.
In contrast to the Adept Document Library search feature, which returns search results from all of the documentation in Adept Document Library, the Search tab in the contents pane allows you to search within the documentation that you are currently viewing.
