This section describes the installation of the Omni-NFS Server on a PC with Microsoft Windows operating system.
To install the Omni-NFS Server program, on the Welcome to AdeptWindows CD-ROM menu, click Install Omni-NFS Server. Or, you can double-click the SETUP.EXE program in the CD-ROM's OmniNFS folder. The InstallShield Wizard Welcome window is displayed as shown below.
Click Next to continue. The InstallShield Wizard displays the Omni-NFS Server for Windows 2000/NT/98/95 serial number/password window.
Enter the Omni-NFS serial number in the Serial No field; enter the Omni-NFS password in the Password field. Click Next to continue. The InstallShield Wizard displays the Omni-NFS License Agreement window.
Click Yes, after reading the license agreement. The Choose Destination Directory window is displayed as shown below.
You can change the destination directory, but it is recommended to use the default destination directory of C:\Program Files\NFserver.
Click Next to proceed. The Select Program Folder window is displayed as shown in Figure 2-25.
Click Next to select the default program folder, Omni-NFS Server V4.1. The Setup Status window is displayed as shown below.
After the Omni-NFS software is installed, a program folder window is displayed that shows the shortcuts for the installed Omni-NFS software.
Close the Omni-NFS Server program shortcuts folder. The InstallShield Wizard displays the InstallShield Wizard Complete window.
Click Finish to close the InstallShield Wizard window if it is still opened.
