Ethernet Connection

The Ethernet connector is a shielded RJ45 receptacle. See the AdeptNet User's Guide for details on AdeptNET TCP/IP, FTP, and NFS capabilities (see AWC Connectors for the location of the Ethernet connection). Adept strongly recommends the use of shielded twisted-pair cables to eliminate interference from motors, amplifiers, and other sources of electromagnetic radiation. Ethernet packet transmissions can be greatly impaired when shielded cable in not used.
